software review | No more printing and scanning. Edit, write on and save .pdfs for FREE! Almost every day, I receive an email with a .PDF attachment that someone wants me to fill out, sign and get back to them ASAP. Sound familiar? This annoys me for two reasons… I have to 1. print it and 2. figure out how to get it back to them. |
Working with clients I spend most of my time away from my own desk, which usually means I have limited access to my all-in-one printer/scanner/fax. Even still, I hate my all-in-one - it's cheaply made, the paper and ink are one of my highest business expenses, and why are people still faxing?!
When this really confounds me, is when someone sends me a PDF that they want me to fill out, sign and get back to them ASAP. Sound familiar? I bet this happens often for you - for me it's a daily reality. Which means finding a printer, figuring out how to connect to it, then finding a scanner (or sometimes taking a picture with my phone) and emailing it to the recipient.
Solution.... In this mobile world, I am a huge fan of "The Cloud" - I have access to everything I need anywhere and anytime I need it.
Something that used to take half an hour, I can now finish in under 5 minutes.
